god wants you well

As strange as it may sound to you, the key to receiving is realizing God has already provided healing for you.  It came with the same package as the forgiveness of you sins.  When Jesus died on the cross 2000 years ago, His stripes fully paid for your healing.  That is what the Bible says.

Isaiah 53:1-6  (Written 400 years before Jesus was crucified)

Who has believed our message
and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.

He was despised and rejected by mankind,
a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.

Surely he took up our pain
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to our own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.

Matthew 8:14-17 (NIV)

When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him.When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:   

   “He took up our infirmities

     and bore our diseases.”

You have to see healing in the same vain as you see forgiveness of sins.  Jesus purchased our healing and the forgiveness of our sins on the same day.  They are to be received the same way.... by confessing and believing.

Just as you can be eternally forgiven of all your sins and freed from the power of sin over your life, you can still choose to sin and face the consequences.  Just as you can be healed of all illnesses and learn to walk in healing (once you know the Kingdom principles of authority), you can still choose not to walk in healing and live with pain.

Jesus was God, manifest in the body of a man.  He only did what His father God told Him to do.  When you look at Jesus' ministry, He healed everyone who came to Him for physical healing.  When Peter cut the ear off of the Roman centurion who came to arrest Jesus, even his ear was restored.  Jesus couldn't help Himself!  Compassion flowed from His very nature.

Yes.  I had to go to venues where there were people who BELIEVED in supernatural healing before I  actually saw people healed.  

1.  I saw a man with liver cancer be prayed for.  His skin color changed from yellow to normal in front of our eyes.

2.  I saw a leg grow out 1-2 inches as my friend was prayed over with authority.

Once I attended Charis Bible College and was taught Kingdom principles for healing, I have seen physical healing manifest in others when I prayed for them.

1.  When I prayed for a woman with cloudy and poor vision, she received complete restoration of sight!

2.  Severe back pain has been healed after a time of prayer.
