1 John 1:1-5 (The Passion Translation)
We saw him with our very own eyes. We gazed upon him and heard him speak.
Our hands actually touched him, the one who was from the beginning,
the Living Expression of God.
This Life-Giver was made visible and we have seen him.
We testify to this truth: the eternal Life-Giver
lived face-to-face with the Father and has now dawned upon us.
So we proclaim to you what we have seen and heard
about this Life-Giver
so that we may share and enjoy this life together.
For truly our fellowship is with the Father
and with his Son, Jesus, the Anointed One.
We are writing these things to you because we want to release to you our fullness of joy.
This is the life-giving message we heard him share and it’s still ringing in our ears.
We now repeat his words to you: God is pure light. You will never find even a trace of darkness in him.
What separates Christianity from Islam or Other Religions?
-- Each has a Holy Book with guilded edges
-- Each has a Prophet or Leader
Only one Religion has a Prophet/Leader who died and rose again!
-- Christianity is NOTHING apart from the Resurrection of Jesus Christ!
-- If Jesus Christ did not rise, then we are still under condemnation for our sins.
-- Jesus Christ DID RISE and those who believe NO LONGER LIVE IN CONDEMNATION!
That is the Gospel.
God Is Love.
Love had a name ... JESUS.
Jesus sole mission was to redeem you from your sins and to empower you to live a victorious life.
Let His Perfect love cast out all your fear!
Fear listens to accusations of guilt, condemnation and shame.
Romans 8:1-2 (New Living Translation)
So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.
John 3:16-17 (New International Version)
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.
Romans 10:8-11 (New International Version)
But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."
Simply Believe. Speak openly with God and receive this Free Gift of Salvation.
Come to Him as a child... speak your heart. He loves you ...
Romans 10:13 (New International Version)
Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Ephesians 3:17-19 (The Amplified Bible)
May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love,
That you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God’s devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it];
[That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!
If you confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, YOU ARE SAVED!
You have entered into a New Kingdom... The Kingdom Of God. You are now a Child of the Most High God! God loves blessing His Children!
As His Child, your loving Heavenly Father wants to give you the supernatural power you need to live this new life. The first gift Jesus gave to His church was the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:39 (The Amplified Bible)
For the promise of the Holy Spirit is to and for you and your children, and to and for all that are far away, even to and for as many as the Lord our God invites and bids to come to Himself.
Luke 11:10-13 (New International Version)
For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened ... how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"
All you have to do to receive the Holy Spirit is ask, believe, and receive!
Pray, “Father, I recognize my need for Your power to live this new life. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit. By faith, I receive it right now! Thank You for baptizing me with power! Holy Spirit, You are welcome in my life!”
Congratulations! Now you’re filled with God’s supernatural power! Some syllables from a language you don’t recognize will rise up from your heart to your mouth, (1 Corinthians 14: 14). As you speak them out loud by faith, you’re releasing God’s power from within and building yourself up in the spirit. (1 Corinthians 14: 4.) You can talk in this personal prayer language whenever and wherever you like!
It doesn’t really matter whether you felt anything or not when you prayed to receive the Lord and His Holy Spirit. If you believed in your heart that you received, then God’s Word promises, then you did receive.
The Kingdom of God is NOW. Revelation 12:10 (KJV) tellus us, "And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night."
We can live like Kingdom children NOW.
“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” (Mark 11: 24 NKJV).
God always honors His Word; believe it!
Romans 4:7-8 (The Amplified Bible)
Blessed and happy and to be envied are those whose iniquities (sins) are forgiven and whose sins are covered up and completely buried. Blessed and happy and to be envied is the person of whose sin the Lord will take no account nor reckon it against him.
The word SALVATION comes from the Greek word soteria which speaks of “a condition where nothing is missing, nothing is broken and nothing is withheld—wholeness.” It is more than simple forgiveness and going to Heaven; it includes deliverance, protection, prosperity, peace, and healing. According to the Apostle Paul, faith is the agent that activates it in our lives.
The word SAVED comes from the Greek word sozo which means " to save, deliver or protect, to be made whole (health, prosperity and peace of mind)."
2 Corinthians 5:17-21 (New International Version)
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
1 Corinthians 1:30 (King James Version)
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption…
